My Dad is in the late stated of his battle now and is very weak. He and Mum want him to remain at home till the end and aren't keen on help. The problem I am worried about at the moment before he deteriorated to a stage with this becomes less important is that Dad is struggling to get in to the bath to take a shower. They live in a small hosing association bungalow and have never been bathers so many moons ago Dad fitted a shower over the bath which they both use daily.
Is there anything that can be done quickly and cheaply?
I'm sorry you didn't get a reply to this. I hope you're doing ok and things are as well as can be expected.
I just thought I'd point you to the carers group, and also the family and friends group. I'm sure there is a wealth of experience there, and someone willbe able to help you with any questions or concerns you might have, and steps to take.
