My daughter is currently in clinical remission following a diagnosis of rhabdomyosarcoma on her chest at the age of 5 weeks old. She is now almost 9 months and in January we will be starting a six month course of maintenance chemo. I am looking for a local support group who I might be able to join and help me through the next phase. I feel like my husband doesn't understand my feelings and I feel very alone. Please can anyone offer any help. I am in SE12 in London. Thank you.
I'm sorry to hear about your daughters illness.
Can I suggest you ring the helpline and see if they know of any local groups.
The number is 0808 808 0000 and they are there from 9am to 8pm weekdays.
