My husband daughter is getting married abroad can he give her away via video link
Congratulations on your daughter's forthcoming wedding! I’m afraid I don’t know the answer. I would think she needs to check this with the priest/celebrant/registrar (or equivalent) who will perform the ceremony abroad. There may not be any legalities but it’s always best to check. The person performing the wedding will hopefully have some discretion and compassion to make arrangements where circumstances might prevent a key member of the wedding party attending. I have heard of one vicar locally allowing a godparent to participate in a baptism ceremony via video link when the circumstances needed it. I hope you all have a fabulous day!
