Welcome to the forums. I'm very sorry for the reasons you find yourself here. Getting this diagnosis must have been a shock for you both. Gentle hugs. Your love and support will be important to your son has he goes through treatment and being well informed will help you both to understand what's happening and to make well informed treatment decisions.

Ive just popped in from the womb group so I haven't any relevant experience to share. There is a forum for people with mantle cell lymphoma. You can find them here https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_types/mantel_cell_lymphoma/ When you're ready, do pop in there. Click join the group, then the button that says start a discussion to post your questions.

Its great that you are supporting your son through this. I'd just say that it's vitally important that you have support for yourself too. If your son has been allocated a specialist nurse, s/he should be able to put you in touch with local support groups and also counsellors if you feel you need to talk to someone who is not emotionally involved. You can also speak to the nurses on the Macmillan helpline - 0808 808 00 00 which is open Mon-Fri 9am to 8pm. There is also a Carers Only group which may be of help. You can find them here https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_experiences/carers_only/

I hope this helps a little. You and your son dont have to face this alone. There are always people on the forums who are happy to talk to you and to help where they can. Sending you both every good wish. Where there is love and life there is hope.
