hi, i have been taking tamoxifen for approx 9 months. last year, my blood test the glucose/sugar level was 5. now it is 6.4. it does not say on the sheet that comes with the medication that it is a side effect but it does say there could be other side effects. i find it strange that it went up so much in a year. my dr now prescribed me with metformin a diabetes drug. is blood sugar increase a side effect? how do i know for sure?
