I was diagnosed in July, & am just getting used to the routine of 4-weekly outpatient appointments for chemo, taking the medication & not being able to drive. Not used to being dependent on family & friends in my everyday life.

Last night I watched a long documentary on BBC2 about a CARt-cell trial, I think at UCH. Been thinking about similarities & differences all night, & could really use some support.

Look forward to hearing from you - Wyoh

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

It's great that you've reached out to this community for support so can I suggest that you join the non-Hodgkin lymphoma group where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support.

To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself or post a question after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

  • Hi  and a second welcome to the Community.

Please do join the NHL Group that  has highlighted for you. You will find me  and others there to help you out.

Come over and introduce yourself, tell us a little about your journey including what treatments you are having.

CAR-T treatment is one of the new treatments but there are other steps on the journey before you would look at that route and even then your type of NHL may not for the criteria at the moment.

I will keep an eye open for you.
