Skull Tumours

Don’t really know where to start. My dad has been diagnosed this week with a malignant skull tumour that has spread from the outside in ( unusual from what I’ve read) . It hasn’t permeated the brain but has put down roots and appears to be quite aggressive. This was more of a surprise because initially the surgeons thought that they were removing a sebaceous cyst during a routine operation on Wednesday. It’s all happened so quickly.

This will be removed in 2-3 weeks .  It’ll be followed by chemo/ radiotherapy. I think I’m struggling because the doctors aren’t due to make final decisions until 21/10.

I should add this isn’t the 1st time that I’ve had to deal with a cancer diagnosis - my mother has had both bladder cancer and cancer of the womb. I can’t seem to find so much about skull tumours - or at least anything that makes sense.

Any advice / experiences would be appreciated.
