I have had lots of tests and I'm book for total thyroidectomy on 31st january.
I don't actually know what this means!!!
Any help/advice or comments appreciated thankyou
Hi Herbertlump and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to hear that you've just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Although I can't answer your question, could I point you in the direction of the thyroid cancer group as I'm sure the people there will be able to.
To join the group just click on the link I've created and then choose 'Join This Group' on the page that opens. You can then respond to existing posts by clicking on 'Reply' or start your own by clicking on 'Start A Discussion'.
When you have a minute it would be really useful to others if you could complete your profile. You can put as much or as little as you like and can amend it at any time. Just click on your username and then choose 'Edit Profile'. If you want an idea of what sort of things to put just take a look at mine by clicking on my username. It means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself and others can see what treatment, etc you've had so far when replying to you.
Wishing you all the best
