Dealing with side effects

Posted by

Hi my name is Alyssa. I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in April last year. My experience with cancer so far has been a wild journey. I had trouble managing my side effects of nausea and vomiting. And I also lost conditioning in my muscles and had difficulty walking.

Hi Alyssa and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm very sorry to hear that you were diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma last year and that you're having difficulty managing the side effects.

I can see that you've joined the non-Hodgkin lymphoma group and I'm sure if you post over there you'll get lots of help from the other members. If you'd like to do that clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.

When you have a minute it would be useful if could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
