Was diagnosed with stage3 toncil/mouth cancer on 25th april 19.
After all the scans n biopsy, treatment came with 270 hours of intense chemo and 30 sessions of radio.
Fitted with a feeding rig.
I must admit it was brutal.
The after effects/side effects are horrendous not being able to eat, swallow is difficult n thick gluey mucous
And damaged saliva glands/constant dry mouth
Anyone on here had similar. be good to chat to like minded people.
Have you joined the Head and Neck Cancer Group as there are plenty of people on there with advice to offer I am sure.
