AM I THE ONLY CARER WHO NEVER SLEEPS!!!!!

so nice to hear from you again. I hope you have had a nice day today and we actually had some sunshine so that always cheers you up doesn't it? Poor Darryl has been really tired today and went to bed early, i keep telling him he's overdoing it but he never listens to me! typical man eh? Darryl's uncle Joe has started the wallpapering and it's looking really good now, so much brighter! We gat a new stair carpet fitted next friday so looking forward to that too. Joe is back at 8.30am tomorrow to finish the papering. Bless the man he's well into his 70's and retired apinter and decorator but still does it privately for people. He won't even let us pay him for doing our papering so i may get him a pressie of a dvd as his mad on his films! well still been very busy here, and i start Darryls jabs again on saturday but i'm not worried about them this time. Hi mel, cant believe you spent mothers day decorating but at least it coming on a treat now!! wondered if i could borrow darylls uncle to give me a hand as still half way through mine (dad would always help me..well no actually it was more of a take over but in a very nice way, bless him!!) and now mum is talking about what to do with her back bedroom and how to finish the garden so guess what we are going to be busy with the next few weeks? How are you, daryll, daley and kirsty? had a bit of a weekend as had to take michaela to hospital as not been well the past week (think the past 4 weeks have really got her down) but we back at dr's tomorrow as testing for glandulafever (which she had when she was 3) and thyroid problems but typical teenager that once theyin the dr's and get given antibiotics and they want to go out they make a miracolous recovery!!! still no sign of baby but angie is back to hospital tomorrow so they may keep her in and start her off - we all getting bloody impatient now, when i saw james yesterday i said about the castor oil which he thought was a great idea but think he scared it would give her the s***s so think he going to wait and see what happens tomorrow but the castor oil is in the pipeline haha! angie hasnt got a clue what we have planned for her!! lots of love and hugs to all of you teresa xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Teresa,
so nice to hear from you again. I know i spent mothers day decorating but really enjoyed it as it brought me and daley closer and we had a good laugh! we even managed to paint the dog! haha It's my pups 1st birthday today and i spoilt him rotten, bless his little heart! haha I'm a bit silly over my baby boy! His name is Essien but i call him essie doodles! hahaha. I'm thinking of making a list for darryl's uncle joe of jobs to do for people on here, and Daley was a landscape gardener so could rent him out too!! hahaha.
I'm so sorry michaela hasn't been very well and hope she recovers soon. I had glandular fever when i was 20 and it really knocked me off my feet took about a year for the tiredness to go too, so hope she hasn't got that poor thing.
I hope Angie gets on ok at hospital and that baby makes an appearence soon. I told you to give her a good prod with a broom!! hahaha don't forget to let me know when baby finally makes an appearence.Good idea to have the castor oil ready but xpect she may get the poops first! haha. I hope you have a nice day tomorrow and that Michaela recovers soon lots of love and hugs Melxx
P.S Darryl has been very tired today think he's over done it but you can't tell these men can you! Also start doing his jabs again on saturday but not worried abaout them this time. xxxx

Dear mel, i think we should have a meet with daley there too, forget my decorating i could really do with a landscape gardener!!! how is he with jungles?? ha ha, il let you know how angie gets on tomorrow and when baby eventually comes, hope you not fretting bout daryll getting tired? dad used to because when he had each course of treatment or injections saw it as such a boost and the silly sod would overdo things, like you said there's no telling men!! lots of love and hugs teresa xxxxxxx

Daley has worked in loads of jungles before so thats no problem. I'll put him in the post for you first class of course so should get him by wednesday!! hahaha I'm sure he'll be pleased about that, only prob i mite struggle a bit trying to put him in the post box, but a good prod should do the trick! haha Please do let me know how Angie gets on, as i'm quite excited now! lol Darryl is not going to do anything tomorrow if i have my way, gonna try and nail him to the sofa if he sits still long enough! haha.

Mel, you never fail to either lift me up emotionally or make me laugh!! I am picturing you trying to put Daley in the post box (give him a prod and I'l get James to give Angie a prod, pardon the pun!) and then nailing Daryll to the sofa, what with these thoughts and the money in condoms i think we're starting to lose the plot haha! sleep well lots of love and hugs teresa xxxxxxx

i am just checking that you are ok and that all is well? i do worry about all my little chickens and as i'm a mother hen i have to check that my kittke chickens are ok? I hope sunday wasn't too painfull for you and at least it's gone now for another year babe. The decorating is coming on nicely and uncle joe is back up again tom morn at 8.30am to carry on. The decorating is coming on really well and uncle joe is back up again tom at 8.30am to do some more. He hopes to be finished by friday. He's been such a trooper bless him.
I had complimentry therapy at the hospice today and had a nice massage! it was so relaxing i fell asleep on the sofa when i got home!! hahaha.
Darryl continues to do well and seems to get better as each day goes by.

How is your mum today? now she is out of the hospital i hope she is recovering well.
The decorating is coming on well and should be finished by friday so looking forward to that. Got a new stair and landing carpet being delivered and fitted next friday so that should tie everything together nicely.
Darryl continues to do well and seems to get better as each day goes by. I have to start doing his jabs again from saturday but it's only for 7 days so not too bad. Darryl said he'll be glad to have a break from chemo now hopefully for a good while just depends how quick his tumour grows back again.
