A whisper goes round the forest, she's here, she's here.
The fairy queen with her crown of flowers goes gliding by
On her golden carriage pulled by dragonflies
.The trees bow their branch and buds turn to leaf.
The flowers open their faces to the sun.
Bluebells chime out a merry song and frogs Croak out loud from their toadstools
.A fairy choir sing sweetly to the songs of birds high in the trees.
Pixies and elves doff their caps and cheer out loud for their queen.
She raises her hand to wave to all.
At the fairy ring she there alights And all goes quiet, not a sound.
She turns around and makes a courtesy
And then the forest erupts in merriment.
For Spring is here.
