Today I took off my steri strips after surgery . From November last year, after lots of scans, biopsy ,tests, had first diagnosis of Grade 2 breast cancer,, had surgery last week, now I'm waiting for next steps and more diagnosis.
Waiting
I sit here,
Looking out the window,
My first day,
What could it be,
Waiting.
My journey of breast cancer.
Waiting is the toughest part.
Very thoughtful poem
My daughters a poet she’s performed and it helped her get through a terrible relationship that was controlling. she’s written for peoples weddings and funerals.
She mainly concentrates on her psychotherapist work now, but I know it’s there her gift to express.
Keep writing.
Hope all goes well
Ann
