Hi i am looking for some help really. My father in law has just been diagnosed with lung cancer and also cancer in his stomach. He has been told they can not operate and can only do Chemo. They have given him 12 months tops. We are all devastated and can not bear to look to the future. I really want some support in terms of what my in laws are entitled to claim to try and make there life as easy as possible at this terrible time. Also i am very worried about my husband who is not coping very well at all. Thank you for taking the time to read

hi

I'm really sorry you're having to cope with all this but welcome to the online community

The best thing to do is call the helpline on Monday morning, they will be able to point you in the right direction for financial assistance.

They also don't mind listening to us pouring out our troubles, they're kind people

Monday to Friday  9 - 8pm  0808 808 0000

IF you could persuade your husband to give them a call it would really help but I know some blokes are a bit reluctant.

Chemotherapy is hard work but I got through it.

hugs
