Hi,  I had last dose of taxol/carboplatin 25/4 and I generally feel well but I’m getting really aching legs, hips, feet and wrists.  Is this normal?  Can’t get out of chair/bed without it hurting.  Anyone else get this?

  • Hi

I haven't had chemotherapy so can't comment on whether your aches are normal or not but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies.

It might be an idea to also post this in the ovarian cancer group to see if people there have had this experience too. Clicking on the link I've created will take you there.

I have found this information on Taxol/Carbo for you and it does mention muscle or joint pain under common side effects. It does says to contact your doctor for painkillers or if the pain doesn't get better.

I hope you can get this sorted soon as it can't be pleasant.
