It's perfectly normal that your mum's worried about the possible side effects of docetaxel.
Could I suggest that you also post this in the breast cancer group as they have a thread dedicated to questions related to chemotherapy. The current one is called June Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Chat and if you post there I'm sure you'll get lots of replies.
