I have just got back from doing the Race for Life - oooh I think I am going to hurt in the morning. Am really proud of myself and the 24 others who ran with me for Clare - I managed 48 minutes. We have all decided we quite like running and are going to try and make an effort to do some training for next year - maybe then my legs will feel like they belong to me!!!!
Well done, you! I bet your legs will recover quite quickly, and you aren't as unfit as you think!More strength to you for planning to do some running and do more for charity!
I do hope so but if they get any worse than they are now I won't be moving far tomorrow ha!! ha!! wev'e already nominated two spectators to be on tea duty at work tomorrow just in case we are all to stiff to walk, but it is a great experience to run with all those ladies - we had a 13 year old running with us who Clare used to look after think she was the fittest of us all.
Ali, if its any help, Paula Radcliffe believes in a cold bath after a race! (what's good enough for her....and all that, lol!...but a cool sponge might just help without too much of a shock to the system!)

Hi, Helen, It's so nice isn't it to have a good walk in the country. We have a lovely one near us we go bug finding up there. Charlotte decided last time we went to go on the red trail but there is a hill called cardiac hill and the name says it all. I managed to get about 3 quarters of the way up and had to stop for 5 shows how unfit I am. I find it very relaxing though to have a lovely country walk just looking at all the flowers and bugs it's so intresting, and so peacefull. Glad you enjoyed you walk and that Caz arrived safely.
