i have hairy cell leukaemia, i was diagnosed at 37, they think i developed it at 29, i had a course of pentostatin and achieved a full remission. i have had no relapses and am now 52, relatively well.

i am reluctant to pester the GP with everything else they need to deal with right now but i really need to find out if i belong on the "at risk" list for possible complications of corona virus. it says blood cancers but doesnt mention ones in remission. am confused and dont know wether i should be still going to work, i am social distancing but not isolating so far.

thank you for nay clarificaiton

I too have HCL. I believe we are in the at risk group. I don’t know the answer to whether we are in the extremely vulnerable list, but we will hear from Tuesday if we get a letter. In the meantime take the precautions you are comfortable with.

take care
