First of all Hello to you  Caroline,I have tried to find out more on my MPN being PV,I get burning feeling on the backs of my arms, some times on the forearm the only thing I can find that comes close is Erythromelalgia, but says its only in the Extremities,?does it affect parts mentioned?

Apologies for the delay in answering. Burning sensations on the hands, arms, legs and feet is very common with PV. There are some useful tips on MPN voice about PV and how to manage it. You don't tell me your age or what treatment you are receiving, but it is very important that you let your team know about these symptoms as it can help decide treatment options.
