I hope all is well with you in NI. I've purposely not been on this site much - decided it was time to stop focussing on AML and focus on the good stuff. Actively avoiding sites to do with AML is helping me to move on!
Once in remission is it okay to take Ibuprofen or Aspirin (not together obv). He took when needed prior to AML.
He wasn't allowed it during treatment or immediately afterwards but I think that was only because of platelets etc.
Yesterday coming down with 2nd cold in 6 weeks. Last night aches, fevers, night sweats......Trying to remind myself one night of drenching sweats doesn't mean AML is marching back). Want to see if he can take Ibuprofen for symptoms.
Latest biopsy - done 2 weeks ago - (the aspirate to show molecular) - no results yet.
He had bloods 3 weeks ago and nothing was mentioned at his biopsy appt so presume they are all ok.
He was diagnosed 26 Jan 2017. Went into remission after 2nd induction (May / June 2017) and so he is approaching the magic 2 years that his consultant refers to. Maybe (??) then we will start to feel more confident lol.

Hi Jaymacabc 123,
glad to hear from you and i think your approach to do with AML will work longterm. You are right, there are a lot of colds about at the moment. Aspirin and Ibuprofen should be ok.
