To treat or not to treat?

I am still waiting for my final diagnosis.  I have a lymphoma and am expecting to be told I need Chemo.  I am not able to find details on the statistics and side effects - I understand that everyone responds differently however I am looking for some logical way to decide if I should accept the treatment or decline.

There doesn't seem to be any talk about this on the internet.  I live a very active, outdoors and independent lifestyle.  I have no wish to live if I am living a half life and whenever I mention this I am told I may be depressed.  This may be the case now (I am about to be diagnosed - I am sure anyone who has been through this process knows how stressful the 'not knowing' can be) however I am trying to get some information in order to make a reasoned decision.  Please would you tell me where to look/who to ask?

Thank you in anticipation of your help Slight smile
