Dear Lorraine
Thank you getting in touch with us, I can see you have also joined other groups on the Online -Community and hope you are finding these helpful, having the support of others going through similar things, can be invaluable and help make such a difference.
A TURBT is generally a safe surgical procedure for bladder cancer which often has mild side effects, which do not last very long. However, I’m sorry to hear you are struggling with on-going symptoms since having your operation.
Because of this happening, we would advise for you to seek medical support to discuss your concerns with your hospital team straightaway. They will be able to assess you and can offer you the right help and support. If you are unable to contact them directly, please do seek medical advice from your GP or 111 today.
I hope this information is helpful, but please don’t hesitate to get back in touch if there’s anything else we can help you with.
Take care and sending best wishes
Sue (Cancer Information Nurse Specialist)
