Welcome to the online community and hope you find the support and information helpful.

This sounds like a really worrying time for you right now. There is no rule book in how anyone manages a situation like this. Its natural to worry about loved ones.

Human nature is always to look at the worst-case scenario this isn’t always the case.

Lumps  and weight loss can be caused by many different things

In a situation like this we would always advise to have any new or worrying symptom checked out as soon as possible. If for nothing else to put everyone’s mind at rest.

Normally you first point of contact would be his GP. or alternatively if he already has a specialist nurse re his gall bladder operation this may be another option.

On this platform it can be difficult to have a two-way conversation and to fully understand what you are going through.

If you’d like further explanation or have any other questions, please feel free to recontact us. Or if you think it may help to discuss things with someone outside the loop please feel free to give us a call or contact us via our web chat platform.

     take care
