gelclear sachets in Australia - help?

Hi, I have stupidly brought too few Gelclear concentrated oral rinse gel 15 ml sachets with me, travelling from London to Sydney.

I recently started with them, and had not realised how many I need.

I am (maybe crazy) visiting family in Australia for a wedding.

My team is at the Royal Marsden London.

My question - can I find Gelclear in Australia (Sydney) and where and how?

I need 40 sachets, asap.

My chemotherapy drug is Everolimus, along with Aromasin.

    Welcome to the Online Community here at Macmillan. I hope you find it a helpful place to access support and ask questions. My name is Vanessa and I am one of the information nurses.

    I am afraid I am finding it difficult to identify where, in Australia, you can get a further supply of Gelclear from. 

    There is however an organisation called the Cancer Council in Australia which has a helpline (phone number 13 11 20) available Monday – Friday, between 9am and 5pm. This helpline is staffed by professionals who may be able to give you more local advice about how to access further Gelclear.

    I can find reference to a product called Gelclair on the specialised therapeutics website. This appears to be a product used for oral mucositis but you would need to check that it is suitable for your needs. The website does list two online pharmacies in Australia who can supply this product although when I tried to explore this neither seemed to have the product in stock. 

    A final option may be Amazon Australia- I can see that Gelclair concentrate was available on Amazon UK but is currently out of stock.

    If you continue to experience difficulties obtaining a further supply we would suggest that you contact your team at the Marsden and seek their advice.
