Hi sharrie59,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Donna, I’m one of the Cancer Information Nurses at Macmillan Cancer Support. I see you are a member of a few groups on our Online Community; I hope you find them a helpful and supportive space.
Glad to hear of your recent recovery from Covid. It’s not clear if you are currently in remission or relapsed and having treatment for your Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
You are as likely as anybody else to get coughs, colds and other illnesses, which might be completely unrelated to your lymphoma. Given that you have had a recent virus there may be a number of reasons why you may be experiencing chills. That being said, I would strongly encourage you to contact your hospital specialist team today. They are best placed to give individual advice and arrange for you to be assessed if they think this is required.
I hope this information is helpful. Please don’t hesitate to get back in touch if you require more help and support.
Best wishes,
Donna – Cancer Information Nurse Specialist
