Isolation

My family member is currently going through chemotherapy, I understand they are clinically vulnerable due to covid-19.

Do the whole family need to isolate with them or can they still socialise with others? (In line with government regulations)

I can imagine the government regulations are a bit confusing. It can be hard to keep up to date with them.

The guidance from the government says that those that living with someone who is clinically extremely vulnerable are still able to attend work if they are unable to work from home. As the country is in a national lockdown the government have said we should only leave the house for essential purposes or for exercise.

It can be a worrying time for the family if someone is undergoing chemotherapy. Even more now with the Coronavirus pandemic. You may find our information on avoiding infection helpful. Carrying out these steps can help keep your family member safe.

Please don’t hesitate to get back in touch if there is anything else we can help you with.
