Cycling after Prostate Cancer.

Hello,

I am 2 years in after radiotherapy and hormone treatment on Zoladex and wondered if cycling for an hour would cause any issues with my recovery?

My last PSA test was undetectable.

Kind regards,

Peter.

Hi Habitat,

I’m happy to hear that you a recovering well from your treatment and that your last PSA was undetectable, you must be so relieved.

It’s so important to get back to exercising and some sort of normality, although it’s understandable that you don’t want to do anything to compromise your recovery.

Cycling is a good form of exercise and shouldn’t cause any problems from your treatment. If you’ve not exercised recently, you might want to check with your GP just to make sure it’s safe to do so. It may be that you would need to build up to an hour, but you will know your own limits.

I hope this has been helpful but please don’t hesitate to get back in touch if you have any further questions.

Best wishes,

Alison P
