I'm enquiring about a mortgage for a 1 bedroom bungalow. I've been awarded enhanced PIP on both components this will pay for the mortgage.
I also have a rental property for sale, offers 90,000.
I will lived in my own home, valued 89,000, mortgage free.
What is the best option for me, as I only have minimum 1 to 5 years to live, of I'm lucky.
It's bad living here, the vibes are bad.
I welcome any recommendations.
Thanks for your question.
We aren’t regulated to provide advice at Macmillan, so I won’t be able to tell you which the best option for you is. However, we can talk to you about getting a mortgage after a cancer diagnosis and the pros and cons of your options, if that would be helpful?
It can be quite an in-depth area to talk through sometimes, so it would be best to have a chat over the phone if that’s okay with you? We are available on freephone 0808 808 0000 Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm.
It’s important that you feel comfortable where you’re living, so if you aren’t liking where you are at the moment we’re keen to talk through the options with you to change this so please do give us a ring.
Thanks Astrid, I hope to hear from you soon.
