I am looking after my dad and he is currently fighting an infection which has lead him to develop both bowel and urinary incontinence. I tried tena pads but they are not working. Having looked online I don't know what to buy for him that I can go out and buy today instead of waiting for delivery tomorrow.
Any advice would be greatly received.

If you have not already done so, can you please let your dad’s GP, or hospital team know that he has an infection which is causing incontinence. You can also call NHS111 if you feel that his symptoms are deteriorating and needs help urgently.
The NHS has general information about urinary incontinence and a section on incontinence products. There is also information on bowel incontinence.
Bladder & Bowel UK have information on their website and they have a confidential helpline where you can speak to continence product experts. There is also Continence Product Advisor.
Please feel that you can speak to the nurses on the Support Line if you want some further support and to have a conversation about your dad.
It can be very challenging looking after a parent with cancer. It is important that you take time to look after your own wellbeing too.
