Hi cowgirl,
My name is Keith and I’m one of the Cancer Information Nurse Specialists
Welcome to the online community we hope you will find the support and information helpful.
Having any investigation can be very worrying and the waiting for the results can be difficult.
CT scans usually take between 1 and 2 weeks to get your results. However, it can take up to 4 weeks depending on how urgent the scan is and what trust you are in.
It may be worthwhile contacting the hospital/consultant for an update and ask when it is likely for you to get your results.
If you are finding any difficulty in getting an update it may be worthwhile contacting Patient Advice and Liaison Service to assist you in getting further information .
If you think it may be helpful why not give our support line a call and have a chat with one of our nurses to discuss this in a little more detail if required.
