1st Taxol after EC

Hi there

just wondering whether to pursue this. Since my first taxol yesterday ai have blood in toilet pan the twice I’ve went to toilet. I do have piles but this is the very first time in my life this has happened. Could you advise?

I was going to wait till next time I went to bathroom to see if went away on its own

    Thanks for getting in touch with us and welcome to our online community.  I’m Linda, one of the nurses from our support line.

    It’s understandable that you are not sure what to do, after passing blood in the toilet. It’s best to report any new symptoms.

    It’s possible that this blood is coming from the piles but to be on the safe side, I would encourage you to call your 24-hour chemotherapy patient line as soon as possible and report the bleeding. They will be able to advise you.
