Hello HFD
My name is Rae and I am a Cancer Information Nurse Specialist here at Macmillan Cancer Support. We can see that you are a regular user of our online forum. We hope you are finding it a useful source of information and support.
It is important that you seek help today for your muscle pain.
Any new or worsening symptoms should be assessed as soon as possible, especially when receiving chemotherapy.
You should have been given a telephone number for if you are unwell on chemotherapy. If you cannot speak to a member of the team in hospital, please call 111 and let them know you are receiving chemotherapy.
You should check with your team before taking paracetamol in case you are unwell and have a temperature.
Please do contact our nurses if you wish to speak further, but please do speak to your team first as we do not have access to your medical notes and are not part of your treatment team.
Best wishes
Rae
