Finally remembered how to add to my blog!!! Half an hour of frustration (or maybe i just don't have much patience at the moment).
Well it was my 50th. birthday on wednesday, was supposed to take my sister to the burns clinic but her hubbie rang me at 8.30am to say that she'd had another seizure so i went up and sat in their flat whilst she slept it off as her hubby is 5 weeks of daily trips for radiotherapy for his cancer. My sister was really upset when she came round and worried about spoiling my birthday. I told her that i was glad that she hadn't died, as that would have really sucked!!! She's had 51 seizures in the last 12 months and the medication she's on isn't working so they're looking at tests for brain tumour and have told her that each seizure could be her last as they don't know how long her body can cope.
Ended up taking her to the burns clinic Thursday and they said that i'd done a good job with the dressings so she can be transfered to the district nurse now!!! Thank god i don't have to do the 90 mile round trip for a week until mum goes in for her op on the 21st.
Supposed to be going away with my mum and sister next saturday for my birthday treat! I'm the driver and first aider which used to be an in joke but lately seems to be my main role. The way things are going i wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen!
Supposed to be doing a vintage fair tomorrow but don't feel like i've got the energy. Don't know if normality will be helpful or annoying!?
