I can't believe how much time has passed since i last posted here. Well dunno where to start but I'll summarise for now.

I finished chemo (6 cycles) July 22. I was told (twice) by my MDT that radio wouldn't be necessary. Hmmmm, that didn't sound right to me. After everything I had read about RMS (rhabdomyosarcoma) chemo was almost definately followed up by RT. I have taken everything the docs have said with a pinch of salt and i did on this occasion too. I was right, and they offered me RT. 30 fractions over 6 weeks. I'm now more than halfway through with 11 fractions to go. It's going okay apart from the 5 hr round trip to london each day, for a 5 min zap. But, I'm extremely grateful for all the help given to me at RMH. I have a review in two weeks as to how things are going. My eyebrows and eyelashes have grown back. Just waiting for the hair on my head to make an appearance. There's a very fine covering of 'fluff' but not enough to stop wearing headscarves, and a beenie at bedtime ;D
