Had a routine colonoscopy on Monday, they found a "swellling" and took a biopsy. Despite a clear scan in June (2 years clear since the big cancer op in May 08) am now sprialling with panic that the cancer is back. Don't know anyone or any books to refer to with any experience of dealing with recurrence of a cancer. I can't think of anything else this swelling could be as most other things I think the doc could have diagnosed just looking at it e.g. polyps, diverticulos, colitis etc.

Don't get the results for 10 days at the GP and can't stop the panic crying when the children aren't here. Does anyone have any recurrence experiences to share (particularly colorectal)? Thanks
