I had breast cancer 4.5 years ago, no problems since having mastectamy

In January I lost top third of right lung with tyical carciod that was benign. Doing well but have had to change how I do things as I get breathless but managed 3 weeks in Thailand on my own recently [covered by husbands insurance at that time - no longer valid] Had 6 month review yesterday and the team are very happy with my progress.

Now want to take the holiday I had to cancel for the surgery and go to Australia for 8 weeks . I realised that travel insurance was going to be expensive but not only that from what I have seen so far travel insurance does not exist for holidays of this length without extending the period, and I have been told this is very expensive. Has anyone had this problem? And can anyone recommend a reliable and reasonably priced company to work with.

I am not expecting any problems and am not having any treatment at this time.

I'm going away for 4nights with my friend to celebrate my 40th and couldnt believe how expensive travel insurance is.

I found a lovely lady called Laura at Insure Choice who found a company called Tokio Marine Insurance who were brilliant and I got insured for a quarter of what everyone else was charging. Call 08452276335
