Now that is all I may have left to live.

About six weeks ago I began getting headaches - not all the time and not in any specific area, occasionally accompanied by very brief spells of 'uncertainty'. These spells always happened when standing up. I never even thought that I shouldn't be driving.A month ago at work I was walking along and suddenly didn't know where to put my foot down or what to do next. I looked around, foot still in the air, to see a workmate looking at me and asking if i was all right.

Off to A&E where a quick assessment had me booked into TIA outpatients next day.Head CT revealed a tumour, possibly 2 together, and chest x-ray revealed a lung tumour. Taken directly to Frenchay neurological unit in Bristol and on wednesday, had a third ventriculostomy to relieve hydrocephaly. Up and walking within hours and feeling great.home again Thursday evening.

Now 25 days after the first big event I am told its a 3cm tumour in the cerebellum with 4 other significant growths nearby and several other small growths dotted around. It's untreatable I am looking at a few months (average) to go.
