AMSTERDAM AND SNOWDONIA MARATHON

I will be taking part in the Amsterdam marathon on october 17th and the Snodonia marathon in the same month. I have decided to get involved and to make fundraising for Macmillan a priority in life after my mothers death from this disease this month.

I think after recent events the way i think and feel will change forever and i will be doing this for the rest of my life. I have never felt so sorry for someone who also happened to be my mother.

Im not sure yet as i am still fairly new to this site if this is the right way to go about fundraising/asking strangers for money

But i would be most gratefull of any donations

I have recently been told my mothers treatment she is currently receiving for secondry cancer of the liver and bones will only slow down the cancer but will not cure it.

Is there anyone on here who has been under similar circumstances who can just tell me straight what to expect over the next few months. i find it hard to talk to my other family members about this because it is upsetting for them also.

I would very mutch like to hear peoples opinions/advice on this
