Story so far is hubby is about to start 3rd chemo cycle on Tues and the info we have so far is that there is no sign of the cancer anywhere else so the chemo hopefully will get rid of any stray little buggers that have managed to escape because it had spread to the nodes in his groin but has had all of them removed both sides. As hubby is self employed money is obviously a problem but the family have all been brill, my mum has been taking me to the bingo on Saturday afternoon to get me out and I have actually been quite enjoying it. Our daughter g ot her last stripe on her purple belt at karate today so she graduates on Monday to her 1st brown belt not to long to go to the BLACK ONE, had better watch out she's not even a teenager yet but has got one hell of a right hook, not that she;s used it on me just what i've seen at her graduation ceremonies. I am 44 nearly 45 although the past few months I feel like i've aged about 10yrs we have a dog called Diesel who is like a naughty kid when he doesnt get his walk down the beach. We only have one daughter but belive me she more than makes up for that. We live in a litte village just outside Dundee called Monifieth I dont know if theres anyone out there thats near us please get in touch.

Frustrating or what?

Why cant banks and other people when you need help just give you a straight answer instead of fobbing you off with sorry I cant help but phone this number they'll sort you out. Why is it so difficult for someone struggling because of a cancer diagnoses to get any help? Cancer doesn't just affect the person in question but the whole family, my duaghter used to go ice skating with her dad on Saturday mornings whilst I am at work but since his diagnosis he obviously hasn't been able to do this, its really frustrating for him I have asked for help regarding money matters but keep hitting my head against brick wall, just when I think that i've found a solution another obstacle is put in your way I am so fed up not only am I dealing with my husband having been diagnosed with cancer trying to keep afloat because he is self employed and not earning any wages whilst he is off, looking after my 11yr old daughter making sure the dog is walked and doing the usual household chores I feel like I haven't got 5mins to myself ahhhhhhhhhhh!

I find people in this situation totally amazing their courage and the way they just try to keep such a positive attiitude is fantastic. I look forward to hearing from anyone who wants to talk.
