After completing 3 cycles of chemotherapy I have now moved onto radiotherapy which is to be 15 sessions.
I had my second session today and on the way home I realised that my ear ached on the side of the radiotherapy ( which is being done on my neck on the right, and upper chest). A couple of hours later I noticed that my neck hurts just below my ear round about at the end of the jaw. It aches and is sore to touch. I phoned the radiotherapy unit who said that this would not be connected with the radiotherapy, which was not actually what I wanted to hear. I felt if I was advised this was normal I could just put up with it.Has anyone else had a reaction like this? (I have been advised if it gets any worse to contact my GP and the radiotherapy unit will have a look at it after the weekend).
