Does it cause big problems in terms of being caught short (!!) while out or sleeping ? Does it take long to settle down and be fairly normal. I know that not having a large intestine life will be different and visits to the 'loo' in the beginning will be frequent. But I am worried that I will find it difficult to control. Has anyone got any views on this subject ??

As previously written I will be commencing my chemo in about a week's time on capcitabine tablets.

The doctor I saw last Friday mentioned all the possible side effects which I do understand MAY not happen (hopefully)! But one she mentioned was Angina like chest pains - has anyone out there had that mentioned to them ??
