Noticed lately that thinking about what have been through and feeling low about it so got an appointment with docs.I have been positive throughout and it seems now to be hitting home!!! Been busy lately as been taking youngest lad, as he has got job on holiday park in Bridlington for rehearsals for shows.Last trip though this week as he starts proper!! Dont know how I would do all these things if still working! Mind you am glad spending time with family etc. Feel well and people say am looking better already since not at work (beginning to smile again) My digestive probs are easing at last.Still have to have medication for acid reflux and dont I know if miss a dose!!! Anyway going to assesment about the retirement on ill health grounds Friday.Being postie brings a bit of pain on around scars and from inside the scars if that makes sense! Dont think I could do manual work eight hours a day anymore!Apart from that seem to be recovering well.Bugs me though that I cant eat as much as I use to.Getting use to it though and was overweight before.So eight months post op now and next check up after Xmas and awaiting scan at present as lump around breast area but they think its fatty tissue(At least got a bit of fat somewhere!!)Bowels still slowly improving but still burping and the other!! &lt;p&gt;Back on full duties this week and managing ok but what awful weather its pretty hard on the bike.Keep thinking though this time last year didnt look like I would be here!.Digestive system appears to be getting better with not so many cramps and regular bowel movements although thats started the good old piles! theres always something eh? Eating better as back at work using more calories and hopefully getting my metabolism back to normal.As eating more get hiccups at night but given medication from doctors and it is helping.Looking forward to Xmas time as my lad will be doing his pantos etc and will get to see them all as last year only saw parts as having the dreaded chemo then and missed xmas as was in bed over the period! As eating better getting hiccups at night so been to GP but didnt want to start on certain medicines so they gave me antacid.Knew wouldnt work so going back! Still get tired but dont bother about that.Hospital check by phone next week.Starting to live life again now eg hotel breaks,holidays etc taking dog for work and now planning charity cd and in studio on 10th Oct.My weight is stable but difficult to put on.I am approx 11st 8.Suppose doctors would say healthy weight.Been a bind with this new site must say!&lt;/p&gt;
