Thought my partner was over the worse. Had radical surgery to head and neck in April. Then went through radiotherapy and chemo for six weeks. Recently been diagnosed with " the cancer part two "!!!! Made a reapearance to the other side of his neck. Waiting for him to go back into hospital in December. Partner and myself have now got the boxing gloves on to fight this other blighter which has the audacity to live where its not wanted. Think we will name it " the squatter" !!!!!
So sorry about 'the squatter'. I think you are being extremely polite about the £$%$**** (make of that what you will!) To have travelled so far to meet another obstacle is a real b******. If I was a religious person I would say I was praying for you, but I'm not, so all I can say is I'm sending you positive vibes.
Really feel for you, just after the first fight another one so soon. You sound really strong and positive and ready to tackle it and we will all be thinking of you and giving you our support xxx
Sorry to hear about you partner. I've had quite a few recurrences in the neck (though not head-and-neck cancer) and had a radical neck dissection, so know something of what you are going through. I'm still here and fighting, so I hope it will go OK for your partner.
Hi Kathryn - sorry to hear about this latest blow to both of you who are obviously very bravely trying to kick this coward up the a**e and show him the bloody door. I get quite affronted by the thought that this cancer has had the cheek to show me his teeth again, but I've got my own gloves, and my wingless angel's Mick's too, so I don't know how it's got the bare faced cheek to turn up and try to stay where it's so obviously not wanted. I hope you serve eviction papers on this squatter without delay. Mine are definitely being drawn up as we speak - so we're ready for it, eh? lol Hold on tight to all that you love, with lotsa love kate xxxxxxxxx
