I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 11th Sept 2008 and I am now at home recovering from the op.

Up until now I have tried to remain positive and focused... apart from the first few days following being diagnosed.... I fell apart!

But today I think the realisation and impact of everyting is finally catching up with me and I am very very emotional.
I know i will have days like this and I know that i will beat this but it is hard at times!
I have the support and love of my partner, family and friends which I am greatful for! But I have two children and I worry about them and how they are dealing with it all.
Trying to maintain normality helps!

I am sorry for the depressing theme to my first blog but i needed to get this off my now smaller chest!!!!

I have my results on Saturday so fingers crossed!

I will keep smiling!
Julie
