I have already posted this comment it in the wrong place!

I previously said I would let 'Jayne ' know how I got on with my second cycle of herceptin. I felt very fatigued for 2 weeks following my first cycle and the Onc said it was due to a build up of chemo/radio in my system and should subside in time. I have just had my second cycle and, although feel fatigued, it's nowhere near the level it was and I feel much better than I did.

I have looked herceptin up on various websites and did read on one 'not to drink alcoholic beverages' whilst on herceptin. Pity I read it after having consumed 3 glasses of red wine!

However, I've had my first dose of herceptin (that I know I'm lucky to have) but it left me very tired and feeling 'drugged up' for about a week. Can anyone share there experience of herceptin with me - is this a 'one off' and my body will get used to it or am I to expect the same side effects from the next 16 doses?
