Hope its acceptable. Had my bladder removed because of bladder cancer on 14th april this year. Getting on ok with urostomy but keep getting urine infections, trouble is dont get cystitis now, but goes straight to kidneys. So I feel really ill as soon as I realise comething is wrong. Trying cranberry extract tabs now, took 1st one today. For anyone with similar probs I will try to report how I get on. So feeling a bIt sorry for myself because no one underdstands how I feel, tired, achey, tetchy. Hoping this op will put me into remission, but I had some lymph nodes removed last november so has it gone anywhere else? Still only time and MRIs etc will answer that. Its only been 3 months since the operation, half way through the recognised recovery period so maybe I am doing and expecting too much too soon. I want to get back to my life, travel, pick up my grandchildren, go swimming, walk more than 50 yards, clean my windows!!!! My family have been wonderful, My grownup son and husband have looked after me especially since january this year when I endured chemotherapy. I hardley got out of bed for two and a half months due to nausea and extreme tiredness. I am usually pretty resiliant and feel that I have been positive most of the last 12 months. I was originally diagnosed July last year and have been in and out of Stafford and Stoke hospitals about 7 times since then.
I am seeing my GP tomorrow for more anti-biotics. Anyway after this moan I feel a little better.
Regards
