I was rushed to hospital and all the checks were done. Thats when I was given the devastating news that I had a cancerous tumour in my bowel an emergency operation was performed and I was in the critical care unit for 2.5 weeks before I was moved to a general ward. I have completed my gruelling six months of chemotherapy in february this year and recently had my first appointment with my surgeon who is happy with my progress.
