I was diagnosed in May 2009 with Cancer of the Oesophagus and had an Oesophagectomy in September 2009, now so far on and still with lots of problems but feeling so much brighter about life.

I have two childre 8 and 12 who have been so wonderfull through this horrible rollacoaster ride and they have kept me going giving me me strength.

Life is not the same... will it ever? I don't know, everyone keeps saying I was so young to get this type of Cancer. I think only now though do I realise how much of a major operation it was. I feel very mixed up at times, I don't know what to do about work or things too far ahead. Trying to get benefits has been a nightmare but it has helped me get my fight back...
