(Surely someone could design better systems.)

However this time it was good news. For what seems like the first time since Christmas, we've come away from the hospital feeling better.

Tony was diagnosed with kidney cancer, "a massive tumour" (15cm) in February & had his left kiney removed at the end of March. He was recommended for a trial of Sorafenib but by the time he was due to start, 'seedlings' in his lungs had started to grow and lymph nodes in front of his trachea had grown from 12 & 15mm to 19 & 22mm. At least he was then eligible and funded to go on Sunitinib.

All have shrunk. The 'specks' in his lungs are now barely visible and his lymph nodes are now back within a normal range.

We're really pleased & hoping it's not to early to celebrate as he starts his third course.
