I have had so many canulas and been put out twice for my operations but today i had canula put in and promptly passed out! the nurses thought id had a fit lol but it was just me and the thought of needles and chemo. I think all the talk of what to do when your temp goes up and side effects made my brain think Iv had enough of this!!

After all that it wasnt that bad and i have three more days of it to get through so the plan is tomorrow not to faint! what a wally!

The rt was not to bad either the first few minutes of the mask claming down on my face and my tongue thing pushing on my obturator was a bit uncomfortable but it was just plaing games in my head to pass the time and it whizzed by! think countries beginning with the alphabet! it must have been slightly panicked got stuck on D how bad is that? lol

Anyways im hoping the sickness etc is short and not too bad so i can rest at the weekend ready for my bank holiday rt, hopefully the traffic will be ok and it wont be such a long day!

Take care of you

I was feeling really good and quite positive and in my head had the idea of only radiotherapy at a local hospital, today i find i need chemo and rt and in London which means 4 hours in the car or a B&B.

I had a howling session in the car on the way home then decided i wasnt going to be a sad sack and was going to get on with the next two weeks until chemo starts.

I know most of you have been there or are doing it now but please let me know what to expect , Im feeling scared and need some encouragment and gentle knowledge of what to expect. I thought after my surgery i was being so brave but im not! How do you wonderful people shake off those bad moments nthat we all have?
